Sneaky way to limit our ability to defend ourselves
As of March 2009, new regulations require Department of Defense personnel to witness the mutilation of expended ammunition.
Up until recently, the U.S. government has sold expended ammunition cases to purchasers who reloaded the shells, etc. for sale to the public. But under Obama, expended ammumition will be required to be "mutilated" to the extent that they can not be reused or reconstructed. Mutiliation is to be witnessed by Department of Defense Surplus personnel who are required to sign a Certificate of Destruction.
Mutilation means that the property will be destroyed to the extent prevents its reuse or reconstruction. DOD personnel will determine when property has been sufficiently mutilated to meet the requirements of the Government.
